07/31- “Platteklip” 🥾
One morning, I was passed by a trail runner on Platteklip. He tried to motivate his fellow runner who was having a worse time with the Table Mountain assent by telling them that the rest of Cape Town was still asleep, warm in their beds on this cloudy and cold rainy morning. 
When I looked to see if this motivation had worked, I saw only regret on the struggling runner's face 😂.
Regardless, I was happy to be there. Table Mountain has the most amazing and accessible hikes! Massive fan of the old faithful Platteklip.
